Caterpillar Club – 0-6 Months
A gentle, multi-sensory baby development class designed to strengthen the bond between you and your little one, and to support your baby to reach those first developmental milestones
Baby’s first senses will be awakened and stimulated in a fun, yet soothing way through singing and dancing, the use of bubbles, props and Makaton. There will be a focus on building on the development of gross motor skills with activities to strengthen the core muscles needed for independent head holding, rolling and sitting. Learn bespoke Bloom music and get hooked on the songs as we teach your little ones body awareness and provide multiple opportunities for 1:1 interaction between you and your baby, Whilst not on the move, your little one may prefer to lay on their back, partake in some tummy time, or remain in your arms. With songs and activities created with your little one in mind, activities and actions can be adapted as needed; opportunities for sensory play and exploration through the use of sensory treasure baskets during theme time and free play. Not forgetting the all important dress-up props for the even more important cute pics! When your little one reaches 6 months, or they are at the point they don’t want to lay still or would prefer to be sat up, they will be ready to move up to our Busy Bees class. Free on street parking. Classes take place in the Little Room at the back of the café. Prams/car seats can be left in the covered outdoor area. Please refrain from bringing car seats into the room.
