Hi, I’m Fiona – the proud owner of Bloom Baby Classes York!
My Bloom journey began when I became a first-time mum to my daughter, Felicity. We joined weekly Bloom classes, and they quickly became the highlight of our week. The welcoming atmosphere, catchy songs, and beautifully planned activities gave me structure, lifted my mood, and introduced me to a supportive group of fellow mums.
With over 10 years of experience as a qualified primary school teacher—specialising in Early Years and Key Stage 1—I understand just how vital those early stages of development are.
As my maternity leave came to an end, I knew I didn’t want to return to full-time teaching and miss out on those special moments with Felicity. Bloom offered the perfect balance—a career that allowed me to continue working with children while being there for my own little one.
Now I’m excited to bring Bloom Baby Classes to families in York, Boroughbridge and Nether Poppleton, and I can’t wait to welcome you and your baby to a class full of fun, learning, and connection.

A great musical and sensory experience! A different theme each week means there are always different props and variety. Our little one goes every week with his Grandma and always sleeps soundly after a class 🙂
