Bloom Baby Classes Basingstoke and Winchester & Andover

Our network has really bloomed over the last few months! Trinity Kimber, who has been a part of our loving family since 2019, recently opened Bloom Baby Classes in Winchester & Andover to provide our sessions to even more parents and little ones across the UK. We thought now would be the perfect time to introduce Trinity, and her flourishing presence in our community, to you all!

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Hi, I’m Trinity! I’m 31, born and bred in Basingstoke – and I still live here today! I’m married, have two little boys who are four and two, a cat and a cockapoo called Rudie. I opened Bloom Baby Classes Basingstoke in October 2019 and opened Bloom Winchester & Andover in September 2022.

What did you do before you joined Bloom Baby Classes?

Before Bloom, I worked in an office doing various admin roles. I was in insurance for eight years but was made redundant on my honeymoon! As a newly married couple, we were thinking of having children, so I ended up working in admin until I was on maternity leave. Before Bloom, I ran a Girl guiding group in the evening and although it was a wonderful outlet, my job just wasn’t fulfilling me. I had always preferred learning on the job – I did an apprenticeship instead of going to university – and I’ve always loved to develop my skills through experience. After I had my first son, my husband and I decided I would be a stay-at-home mum, but I didn’t enjoy it – I needed to get out and do something! This is when I found Bloom.

How did you come across Bloom Baby Classes?

My sister lives in Manchester and she attended the South Manchester franchise. I joined her for a session one day and was a little wary – I thought baby classes were cliquey, but as soon as I stepped through the Bloom doors, I realised this isn’t the case! It was around this time that I was looking for a new career venture, but I didn’t know what to turn to.

Every week I would receive adorable photos of my niece at Bloom, and my sister would detail more and more about how much she had personally grown in confidence and all the friends she’d made.

Bloom really opened my eyes to what a baby development class could be, and my love of thefranchise grew from there! I knew becoming a teacher was the right next step for me – I lovechildren and after running my own Girl guiding group, it wasn’t completely out of my comfort zone.

What’s the best thing about being a Bloom Baby Classes teacher?

For me, it’s equal parts teaching and being there for the parents. Being able to have conversations with people who relate to you is so important as a parent, and the classes make this new journey much less lonely for mums and dads. This community is what helped me so much when I was a new mum, and being able to give back to it is amazing – sharing moments of growth for little ones with parents is also so rewarding!

What are your hobbies and interests?

I played netball before I became a busy mum, but now I love dog walking with my family. I am very family-driven, and I cherish every moment I get to spend with them all. We love going to the beach –it’s my eldest’s favourite thing to do at the moment!
