Hi, I’m Hayley – mum to my smiley little boy Oscar and proud owner of Bloom Baby Classes Derbyshire Dales, Leek, and North Staffordshire. With 11 years of experience as a qualified Primary School teacher, I’ve taught children from Reception to Year 6 and have always been passionate about early learning and child development.
After giving birth to Oscar in July 2021, I faced postnatal anxiety linked to a traumatic birth. What truly helped me heal was attending baby classes – especially Bloom. Surrounded by supportive parents and engaging, expertly designed sessions, I felt myself again. I knew instantly this was the path I wanted to follow.
Now, I’m thrilled to bring Bloom’s colourful, sensory-rich baby development classes to families across Bakewell, Leek, and Matlock. Each class supports baby’s physical and cognitive milestones while also offering a warm, safe space for parents.

The Bloom classes are run so wonderfully by Hayley. She was so helpful when booking the sessions and made me feel so welcome when I came to my first session. She even gave me reassurance when my baby was a little overwhelmed the first time. My baby girl absolutely loves the Bloom classes each week now and we can't wait to come next term! It is so lovely coming to a friendly class and enjoying all the different aspects of a baby class from baby massage to makaton signing with a fun theme each week. We even enjoy listening to the Bloom songs at home! Thank you Hayley! 😀
